Local News

Here is what the team have been up to over the last few weeks!

Both PCSO Humphrey and PCSO Nugent have busy conducting foot patrols around the Mackworth and New Zealand area, targeting places such as Ashbourne Court, Henley Green, Finchley Avenue due to reports of ongoing ASB. Our local PCSO's have also been conducting more School patrols to help build the relationship with local residents and hopefully make it easier for members of the community to express any concerns about the local area.

PC Brown and PCSO Humphrey recently attended to an urgent call in Mackworth regarding an elderly woman who had fallen inside her house. PC Brown sprung into action by gaining entry to the premises, so the ambulance were able to provide medical assistance to the woman.  They also assisted with the search for a high risk missing person who was found safe and well.

Whilst conducting patrols they have also responded to multiple reports of anti-social behaviour on Surrey street. The youths were found and dispersed from the area.

Cause ASB issues and find out..🚔 👮🏼‍♀️
A Section 34 Dispersal Order can be put in place when we have persistent ASB in one area. This allows officers to use dispersal powers to exclude individuals over the age of 10 from a specified location for a specified period of time, if they are committing anti-social behaviour, or if we believe they may, or are likely to, cause a nuisance to someone else.
Anybody committing an offence who refuses this order can be arrested and fined up to £2,500 and/or receive a three-month prison sentence.

If you are concerned about anti-social behaviour, or to report a crime, please contact us on the details below:
