Over Bank Holiday weekends, our phone lines can be extremely busy. Our staff are ready 24/7 to help those in need – and often take difficult and challenging calls.
We want to make sure you get the help and information you need quickly and easily, which is why a new app called #PoliceUK has been launched.
This allows you to report a range of matters online in the same way you would as if you called 101.
These include reporting anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, or road traffic incidents and many others and means you can do it whenever suits you without having to make a phone call.
#PoliceUK is available via both the Google Play and iOS App stores. Find out more here: https://orlo.uk/N3ylV
You can also:
• Use the reporting tools on our website https://orlo.uk/vnEm5 • Report on X (Twitter) @DerPolContact • Report on Facebook /DerbyshireConstabulary
Our online reports are dealt with by the trained staff in our Control Room in the same way as 101 calls. This makes sure the phones are kept clear for those who might not have online access and those who need us now.
Remember, if a crime is taking place, or somebody is in immediate danger, always call 999.
