ECKINGTON- MINI POLICE- FATAL 4

Yesterday, PC Kendellen and PCSO Rawson attended Eckington Camms for our mini police session. The afternoon was spent teaching them about various topics to do with safe driving such as: FATAL 4, stopping distances and signs to look out for possible irresponsible driving.

FATAL 4 is term used by emergency services to denote the four main causes of people who are killed or seriously injured on our roads.
1. Not wearing seatbelts
2. Excessive speed
3. Drink/drug driving
4. Using a mobile phone whilst driving

It is our hope that by educating children about dangerous habits when driving, they will grow up to become safe and careful drivers in the future.
