Op Sceptre/ Project Zao Week

Op Sceptre/ Project Zao

Officers nationally will be taking place in Operation Sceptre this week. This is a week of efforts to help fight against knife crime.

Between the 16th of May and the 22nd of May, officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Teams will be delivering posters to all retailers that stock knives and we will be holding events throughout the areas.

We have knife amnesty boxes to enable the public to surrender any unwanted knives.

*17th May - Buxton Train Station at 7am until 8:30am*

Our Youth Engagement Team will also be going into schools and enhancing education around knife crime.
