This morning, local officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team conducted foot patrol in the Hope area, despite the bad weather conditions. During our patrol, we addressed the issue of parking outside Hope Primary School, an area that has received numerous complaints regarding inconsiderate parking. These complaints primarily relate to vehicles being parked on double yellow lines at the junction with Edale Road and obstructing driveways and dropped kerbs. It is noteworthy that, despite the rain, the majority of parents and carers demonstrated responsible parking today. We fully understand the stresses of getting young children to and from school but would encourage parents and carers to always be considerate of others. |
