Witness sought following altercation in Buxton town centre

We are appealing for witnesses to an altercation in Buxton.

We were called to the Market Place just before 5pm on Friday 24 January to reports of a group of people fighting.

A 16-year-old boy has told officers he was head-butted by a van driver in Eagle Parade, causing a nose bleed.

He has described the man as white, of large build and with a bald head.
