Visit by the SunBells group to Glossop Police Station on Friday 19th April

Glossop SNT - Youth Engagement

PCSO Buller and PCSO Nicklin were very happy to accommodate a visit by the Sun Bells (a combination of the Sun flower and Blue bell classes) consisting of youngsters from Whitfield St James' CE (VC) Primary School, Chadwick Street, Glossop on Friday morning, 19th April.

The youngsters aged between 5 and 6 along with their helpers had been invited to call at Glossop Police station after a chance meeting on Norfolk Square just before Easter.

During the visit it gave the youngsters a chance to try on some uniform - visit our custody suite and have a quick look at and inside some  Police cars. (See pics).

Some very happy faces and lovely smiles made the visit enjoyable and memorable for the team and hopefully for our young visitors and helpers too - its a wonderful and fantastic opportunity to engage with even the youngest members of our community. So thank you very much Sun Bells.
