Mini Police at Ashwood Spencer Academy

On Wednesday our Mini Police at Ashwood Spencer Academy were treated to a visit from officers from the CSI (Crime Scene Investigator) team. They explained to the children what their job entails and the tools they need to carry out their role.

The officers showed how finger prints, footprints and other evidence was taken and how they were examined and the mini officers had the chance to take their own finger print and add it to a bookmark that they could keep.

They discussed how they preserved a scene and some of the children had the opportunity to dress as a CSI officers.
