MILTON ROAD POTHOLES UPDATE

Motorists and residents in Mercia have raised concerns about the condition of the road surface between Milton and Ticknall villages.

The section of roadway close to Foremark Reservoir was highlighted of particular worry.

Several drivers had reported damage to their car tyres, after they collided with potholes.

Police have been contacting the Derbyshire County Council Highways Team over the past 10 days, with a request for them to attend the location and complete repairs.

Persistence paid off on Monday 29 April, a road repair team arrived to start the essential works.

A huge thanks to the wonderful construction workers for attending and making the road safe.
