During the past fortnight PC Murray has been completing speed enforcement with a handheld speed device along Common Road, Church Gresley due to concerns highlighted by local residents. The officer has consequently identified numerous drivers speeding along this road who have been stopped and engaged accordingly. The officer has liaised with our Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team- CREST Home - CREST Derbyshire who has identified that this stretch alone resulted in 96 drivers being prosecuted during 2024. Pc Murray will continue to enforce this area too amongst other roads which was disclosed during our recent forum meeting. |
