Dangers around derelict buildings

Police have had numerous incidents reported over the past few months regarding people entering the old Cotton Lane police station. Especially youths.

Derelict buildings are very dangerous and can cause serious harm, or death, due to debris and buildings often being  unstable.

Cotton Lane police station is full of asbestos and has unstable ceilings, wires also exposed. Owners are in the process of securing it further. Police will also be conducted extra patrols in the area.

Please contact the police via one of the many methods to report any anti-socil behaviour.
