How we deal with ASB

Hi All,

Anti-Social Behaviour is a priority for us in Swadlincote as well as Derbyshire Constabulary as a whole. We tackle it through several key initiatives:

1. Hot Spot Policing - This involves intensive patrols in areas identified through in-depth analysis as having levels of disruptive or nuisance behaviour. The increase police presence helps deter ASB and other crimes,

2. Immediate Justice - This scheme requires perpetrators of ASB to make amends by engaging in community work, such as litter picking or volunteering. This approach aims to break the cycle of ASB and encourages offenders to reflect on the impact of their actions,

3. Partnerships - Derbyshire Police work closely with local councils, housing providers, and other partners to address ASB comprehensively. This collaborative approach ensures that issues are tackled from multiple angels

We hope that everyone enjoys the Easter Holidays and your local officers will be visible conducting foot and mobile patrols, hoping to engage with our younger community and deter any ASB.

Kind Regards From Your Local PCSO,

PCSO LUNNUN.
