Please see road closures during April for Darley & Winster areas.

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE B5057 Sydnope Hill, Two Dales WHEN: 21st April 2025 to 23rd April 2025 REASON: To facilitate STW pipe repair. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wheatley Road, B5057 Chesterfield Road, A6, A615, A632, Amber Lane, Matlock Road, Darley Road, B5057 Sydnope Hill and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make/has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic. REASON: To facilitate STW pipe renew. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wensley Road, Main Street, Elton Road, B5056, Dale Road North, Station Road, Main Road, Eversleigh Rise and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Snitterton Road, Matlock Spa Road, Cawdor Way, Derwent Way, Bakewell Road, A6, Station Road, Main Road, Eversleigh Rise, Oker Road and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. REASON: To facilitate Tree Works. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B5056, A5012, A6. B5056, and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
