☀️ Summer Safety Alert: The Dangers of Disposable BBQs ☀️

As the weather warms up and we all look forward to BBQs and outdoor gatherings, it’s important to remember that safety should always come first! 🔥

Disposable BBQs may seem like a convenient option for a quick grilling session, but they come with many risks, especially during hot summer months. Here are some dangers to be aware of:

🔥 Fire Hazards – Disposable BBQs can easily overheat or be left unattended, causing a fire to spread quickly. Ensure you always have water or a fire extinguisher nearby and never leave your BBQ unattended!

🌡️ Extreme Temperatures – On a hot day, the ground and surrounding area can become extra dry and flammable. A small spark can lead to a large fire, especially if you're in a forested or grassy area.

💨 Improper Disposal – Even after your BBQ has cooled down, leftover embers can remain hot for hours! Properly dispose of them by ensuring they are completely cooled before throwing them away. NEVER dispose of hot coals in a bin or leave them unattended.

How to Stay Safe:

✔️ Always place your BBQ on a stable, non-flammable surface (like a metal BBQ stand).

✔️ Make sure your BBQ is far from trees, bushes, or anything else that could catch fire.

✔️ Never use a disposable BBQ indoors or in an enclosed space (e.g., tents).

✔️ Let your BBQ cool completely before disposing of it in a safe, designated bin.
