Good news story from Buxton local policing units with another drug driver taken off the roads.

In the early hours of Thursday 1st May a vehicle was stopped by local officers, a  search was conducted and a male was arrested and the car was seized after he failed a drugs test.

Derbyshire Constabulary has a strict policy on drink and drug driving, with penalties that include a criminal record, a ban from driving for at least a year, a potential six-month prison sentence, and an unlimited fine. The penalties for drug driving are the same as for drink driving.  Don't do it.
