Our Visit to Hilltop Tots Nursery

Earlier this week, PC Matthews and PCSO Gelsthorpe visited the pre-school children at Hilltop Tots Nursery.

We were asked to speak to the children about the role of the police and to show them the police car that we drive.

The children engaged really well and asked some really good questions. During our visit we discussed the sorts of things we do day-to-day, how we keep members of the public safe, what to do if you get lost and what equipment/vehicles the police use. When it was time to go outside and look at the car, the children got to take turns to sit inside and put the lights and sirens on!

We had a great morning, as we always do when we visit Hilltop Tots. Thank you again for our lovely handmade card!
