Eckingtons SNT Day

Resident

Another busy day for Eckington SNT👮🏼‍♂️ First stop:

PCSO Furmidge and PC Kendellen attended our Community Catch up event at Eckington Civic, which took place within the Lunch club. These community catch up's give you a chance to voice concerns, share observations, and provide feedback on policing in the area. The officers attending provided crime prevention advice and ensure our policing strategies align with your community needs. If you have any concerns or worries,  in the future that you wish to share but don't want to discuss it with the group, there will be an opportunity to speak to the officers separately.

The officers then visited Eckington Camm's to deliver our Mini police session which was about stop searches. This is great way for the children to build confidence with the officers in their normal environment, teach them about what we do and also have them as our eyes and ears in the community 🙂

Finally: Both officers joined Marsh Lane coffee afternoon, this is great way to speak to people in an informal way to break down barriers.

An excellent day working alongside our local community.
