Float to Live

Please share with the young people in your household (even if they are a teenager and already know EVERYTHING)!!  It could save their life.

The sunshine is here to stay until the weekend at least! β˜€ No matter how warm it gets outside, open water remains cold meaning there is a high risk of drowning. If you do get into difficulty in water, #FloatToLive: πŸ’§ Tilt your head back and submerge your ears πŸ’§ Relax and try to control your breathing πŸ’§ Move your hands to help you stay afloat πŸ’§ It’s OK if your legs sink, everyone floats differently πŸ’§ Once you're calm, call for help. Swim to safety if you are able. In an emergency, call 999 or 112 for the Coastguard #RespectTheWater
