School and Community Engagement as part of Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week


As part of Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week, yesterday PCSO Boswell spent some time at Baslow St Anne’s C of E Primary School speaking to the pupils of class 5 (Jaguars) about the topic of Anti-Social behaviour and how it effects people plus the community.

 

The children interacted well throughout the talk and asked some questions at the end.

 

After visiting the school, an engagement event was held on Oddfellow Road Car Park in Hathersage giving an opportunity for people to come and speak to their local team about any concerns they had etc.

 

Today, PCSO Boswell visited Grindleford Primary School and spoke to the children of Class 3 (Year 5/6) about the topic of Anti-Social Behaviour and how it effects people plus the community.

 

The children interacted well throughout the talk and asked some questions at the end.

 

After being at the school, an engagement event was held at Baslow Sports Field Café in Baslow giving an opportunity for people to come and speak to their local team about any concerns they had etc.

 

If you wasn’t able to visit the engagement events for want ever reason, the Safer Neighbourhood Team will be holding another event on Thursday 3rd July between 1pm and 2pm near Tideswell Sports Complex on St John’s Road, Tideswell.

 

By dropping in at these community events give you the opportunity to speak with your local beat team regarding concerns that you have, sign up to Derbyshire Alert, complete a Derbyshire Talking survey and ask about crime prevention etc.
