Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour in Shirebrook and Langwith

As part of our continued efforts in tackling anti-social behaviour in the town, PCSO's Sam FELLOWS and Dave HANCOCK have been around the Market Place,  Leisure Centre and Langwith Junction and happy to report they did not see any incidents of ASB.

Later on, PCSO's Sam and Dave took part in their usual partnership working alongside Bolsover District Council's Enforcement Rangers and were also joined by PC Ash CUTT and Jake STONE in Langwith, for a patrol around Whaley Thorns and the Train Station there.

A few children were advised about their behaviour - other than that, no incidents of ASB to report.

As a Safer Neighbourhood Team, we will continue our efforts in making sure the town is safe for everyone to enjoy, that means enforcing the rules of the Public Spaces Protection Order which prohibits anyone from having an open vessel, (i.e. a can or bottle etc.) of alcohol whilst in public spaces.

❗One Fixed Penalty Notice for breach of the PSPO has been issued so far today.

The PSPO has been in place for some years and covers all of Shirebrook, Langwith Junction and Langwith. Please see our previous posts for details on this or visit the following to find out more: https://www.bolsover.gov.uk/services/p/pspo/shirebrook-and-langwith-junction-pspo
