***Eckington & Spinkhill***

Today PCSO Furmidge took part in a couple of community-focused activities.

The day began with her attending the local market down near Eckington Civic Centre - an excellent way to engage with members of the community and foster stronger local relationships in a welcoming environment.
 

Following this, she then visited Spinkhill Immaculate Conception Catholic Primary School to interact with the pupils, to teach them about Anti-social behaviour and to be more mindful when out in the community.
 

Visits like these are key to building trust with local people and encouraging positive relationships between police and to see what people are thinking about in the area for the future. A productive day focused on strengthening community ties!
