community speed watch National Speed Watch Day

National Speed Watch Day

Today we’re proud to shine a spotlight on the incredible work of our Community Speed Watch (CSW) volunteers this morning PC Schofield and PCSO Green joined the CSW group in the Chinley area, who jumped into action at school drop off time to ensure speed limits were adhered to.

With the  CSW help, we’re making our roads safer for everyone — from schoolchildren and cyclists to dog walkers and drivers.

The presence and assistance of our local CSW not only boosts the effectiveness of speed monitoring but also strengthens the connection between our community and local policing. Their dedication is a huge part of why initiatives like this succeed.   A massive thank you to all involved for your time, commitment, and care in keeping our local roads safe!
