Careers and Summer Safety inputs for Yr 8 students at Longdendale High School - 15th July

Glossop SNT - School Inputs

PCSO Buller from Glossop YET (Youth Engagement Team) had been invited to attend Longdendale, High School, Spring St, Hollingworth today, Tuesday 15th July.

The team had been asked to complete inputs with each class of their year 8 students on ‘Careers and Roles within the Police’ and on ‘Summer Safety’.

Each class were shown our ‘24/7’ video ‘- 24 hrs in Policing in Derbyshire - showing the various careers and jobs in the Force and what we do. Then each class was informed about ‘Summer Safety’ - on Camping, Water safety (Float to Live), Derelict buildings and the dangers associated with the railway.

Thank you from the team to all the pupils we worked and engaged with today - especially to the head and staff for allowing our attendance and inputs at the school.
