Community Speed Watch - Dinting Rd, Dinting, Tuesday 16th September

Glossop SNT - Community Speed Watch at Dinting Rd, Dinting.

The Hadfield Community Speed Watch volunteers conducted a speed watch event on Dinting Road, Dinting, this afternoon between   3:00 PM & 4:00 PM,  Tuesday, 16th September.

The designated speed limit at this location is 40 mph. During the monitoring period, a total of 390 vehicles were observed, with no instances of speeding recorded today.

This initiative was undertaken at the request of local residents, including Glossopdale School in response to inquiries regarding a review of speed limits in the area, particularly in light of the recent installation of a pelican crossing and the development of a new building site, which may influence traffic patterns.
