Local Priorities Road Safety Issues Update |
||
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Officers from Dronfield SNT have attended Dronfield Infant and Junior schools over the last few days. In relation to the schools on School Lane Dronfield, its important to remind parents and carers that the zig zag markings should not to be used as a drop off zone. The area should be left clear for everyone safety. While we appreciate concerns are raised in relation to school parking on a frequent basis its important to also consider local residents when parking and car engines should be turned off to avoid idling. If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.derbyshire.police.uk/, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can stay 100 per cent anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
