Hate Crime Awareness

As part of our Hate Crime Awareness week, PCSO's SNEAP, POTTER & BARTOS attended the Chapel Street Arts Centre and spoke to members of the Hubhub theatre group about keeping safe. Following that they visited the LGBTQ+ community centre where they discussed issues and concerns around hate crime as well as answering some really good questions about crime reporting and victim services.

To finish the shift, the PCSO's continued to patrol the city centre with Public Protection Officers and engaged with several members of the public and discussed a range issues and queries.

Tomorrow, PCSO's SNEAP and POTTER will be holding another community engagement, this time in the Derbion. They will be located near the food court between 12:30 - 2pm, and will be joined by staff from Victim Services.
