||
|
A man was caught with a quantity of suspected drugs by officers out on patrol in Derby. Officers noticed a black bag containing suspected drugs whilst speaking to a man in Normanton Road on Saturday 18 October at about 7pm. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being in possession with intent to supply a Class B drug, namely Mamba. The 30-year-old man was also arrested in relation to an assault on a 31-year-old man in Normanton Road on Friday 17 October. He was bailed with conditions for both offences. Officers who made the arrest were part of Operation Shango - our dedicated campaign aimed at cracking down on anti-social behaviour using targeted extra high-visibility patrols. | ||
