Hadfield Nursery School Visit followed by a Halloween and Bonfire Safety input at St Mary's CVA, Glossop - Friday 24th October |

Glossop SNT - School Visit/School Input
PCSO Buller attended Hadfield Nursery School, Queen St, Hadfield this morning, Friday 24th October afer being nvited to pop to and chat with their children (ages 2 - 5). Part 2
We talked about holding hands - such as your mummy and daddy's - grandma or grandad and any other memebrs of your family when walking to and from school and especially when outside and not to run off from parents.
Later the same morning PCSO Buller then attended St Mary's Catholic Voluntary Academy, Gladstone St, Glossop to complete inputs/assemblies with their KS1 (ages 5-7) and KS2 ( ages 7-11) on Halloween & Bonfire Safety.
With KS1 we discussed the following ▪️ Avoiding Halloween Horrors ▪️ No Trick or Treating Here (see poster below). ▪️ Thinking of others (Some people don't enjoy Halloween) ▪️ Bonfire Night - Top Tips for staying safe
With KS2 we discussed the following ▪️Halloween, Bonfire Night and Anti-Social Behavior ▪️ What is ASB? ▪️ Halloween Signs (see poster below). ▪️What are the Dangers of Lighting Fires? added Dangers in Rural Spaces ▪️Arson - What is the Harm? ▪️‘STOP,DROP,ROLL’ ▪️ Fireworks and the Law!
Thank you to the Headteachers and staff at each of the schools for accommodating the visit/inputs today and especially to those students who engaged very well with the team this morning
