PC Boniface and PC Williams were on targeted burglary and car theft patrols when they spotted a Vauxhall Meriva behaving in an odd manner. 

When the pair have turned around to speak to the driver the vehicle sped off at high speed. 

The vehicle was pursued and the driver ended up pulling over and giving up.

The male has been reported for driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance, he is soon to appear at South Derbyshire Magistrates Court.
