*** Auto crime / Burglary patrols ***

Following a vehicle being reported as stolen in Melbourne, SNT officers on the dedicated proactive patrols have completed CCTV enquiries, recovered forensics, and tracked a vehicle used in the initial offence.

Officers passed this intelligence to neighbouring forces with the vehicle being tracked to the West Midlands area.

The vehicle was stopped by police with the driver being arrested and linked to organised theft of vehicle offences. 

The vehicle recovered.
