PC Holmes-Small, Williams and Boniface sight a male acting suspicious around a Honda Civic next to Maurice Lea Park.

On seeing police, the male disappears into the park, being located shortly after trying to quickly return to his vehicle.

Male is detained and stop searched where £1600 is located in his pocket along with drugs and a phone, the male advises that he is a tourist and wanting to see the famous tourist attractions of Swadlincote......... at 10pm at night.🌃🌚

He is arrested for being concerned in the supply, money laundering and possession of criminal property. Enquiries ongoing
