The victim was walking along Gerard Street in Normanton, just past the junction with Burton Road, between 4.30am and 4.45am on Friday 17 October when another woman started following her. The woman then repeatedly punched her to the head before stealing her drawstring bag containing cash, a phone charger and stationery.
