SNT Meeting with the Social Prescribing Team from The Bureau at Glossop Police Station

Glossop SNT - Partnership Working 

The team had the opportunity to meet the Social Prescribing team from The Bureau, Henry St, Glossop, on Wednesday 5th November.

The meeting took place in the conference room at the Police Station, Ellison St, Glossop. Whereupon the team were updated on the services that the prescribing team can provide such as:

➡️  Health Coaching
➡️  A Directory of services
➡️  Activities to fill someones time now and then

ℹ️ However they provide much more:

Physical Activity - Diet & Nutrition - Mental Helath - Social Support - Substance Abuse - Debt & Benefit Advice - Housing Support - Employability Support - Volunteering Support - Gambling Addiction.

It was good to meet and engage with Paula and Lisa from the team yesterday - who provided the SNT teams with lots of useful information about what they can offer and provide. its by working together that we can make Glossopdale a safer and more supportive place for those who need it most..
