KEEP VIGILANT

Hi folks,

Welcome again to our new users of Derbyshire Alert.

Keep vigilant please, as South Derbyshire is still being targeted by criminals either stealing vehicles or stealing items within vehicles.

Keep nothing in your vehicles, and keep all keys, whether house keys or vehicles out of sight.

Throughout this week I have been stopping and dealing with HGV's that are breaching the 7.5 Weight restrictions through rural villages.

This is a never ending battle but thankyou all for your patience whilst waiting behind lorries that I have stopped, taken details and then redirected them.

Finally I was invited to a Church choir rehearsal at St Mary's in Coton-in-the-Elms recently which is held on the following dates from 7pm :-

Thursday 13th November 

Thursday 20th November 

Thursday 27th November 

This lovely choir group are always after more members to attend and therefore go along and join them and by Sunday the 30th of November from 5pm at the Church they are walking down onto the green area of Coton-in-the-Elms for a get together of singing Christmas carols after completing a Santas procession through the village.
