Newton Community Centre Engagement Today

Morning all! 👋

The local Police Team will be at Newtons Community Centre this morning for our Community Catch-up around 10:30am.

I’ll be discussing topics round Operation Sceptre, which kicks off next Monday as part of the national Op Sceptre Week.
🔪 Operation Sceptre is a twice-yearly initiative across England and Wales aimed at tackling knife crime. It combines enforcement, education, and partnership working to:

Remove knives from our streets
Deter people from carrying them
Prevent serious violence through coordinated action
