👮👮During part of today’s shift Pcso’s Hodgkinson and Bell have conducted a preventative knife sweep as part of the national Operation Sceptre week of action in Newhall Park. We are pleased to say no knives or weapons were located during this sweep. We know it is the minority of people who think it is acceptable to carry a knife; but it can have devastating consequences when they do, this proactive work means that we can check for any discarded knives or weapons and safely dispose of them, keeping them from getting into the wrong hands.

🚸 Todays 3 Mini Police sessions at Newhall Junior school with Pcso Hodgkinson and Youth Engagement  Team Pcso Coldicott was around Knife crime, its consequences and the law. By talking to schools about the impact knife crime has and answering their questions, we can educate young people on the many ways #knivesshatterlives.
