Dear Resident, 

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be at a Community Catch Up event at Morrisons, Wheatcroft Way, Derby on Wednesday 19th November 2025 at 4:30pm. 

We will be available in store offering free crime prevention advice in relation to this weeks focus on tackling knife crime.

The week highlights the work being done year round to tackle the issue of knife crime, and whilst we know, in Derbyshire, it is the minority of people who think carrying a knife is acceptable, we also understand the devastating consequences it can have when they do.

Please come along and speak to your local officers, we will also be encouraging members of the public to complete our Community Voice survey which helps us to understand any issues within the local community and share with partner agencies.
