🌟🎄 Heanor’s Christmas Lights Switch-On – Road Closures Notice - THIS SATURDAY 22 NOVEMBER 🎄🌟 2025 Heanor’s Christmas Lights Switch On 💫

To help everyone enjoy a safe and magical event, the following road closures will be in place on Saturday 22 November for the Heanor Christmas Lights Switch-On event. Heanor Market Place Car Park will also be closed.

🚧 From 6:00am – 9:00pm

⛔️ Godfrey Street – from its junction with Mundy Street to its junction with Market Street.

(This includes the area between the toilet block, Police Station, Blend Charity Shop, Royal Breakfast & the former Go Mobile Shop.)

🚫 No vehicle access or parking will be permitted in this area for either customers or business owners.

⛔️ Market Place (South Side) – from its junction with Godfrey Street to its junction with Wilmot Street.

💥 Temporary Closures for the Fireworks Display (7:15pm – 8:00pm) ⛔️ Market Street – from its junction with Ray Street to its junction with Church Street.

⛔️ Wilmot Street – from its junction with Market Street to its junction with Mundy Street.
