We have been made aware of anti-social behaviour (ASB) in and around Darley Dale. WIthout your reports this will not stop!! The police have a range of powers to stop this happening. ASB are behaviours that cause harassment, alarm, or distress to individuals or communities. 🚓 What is considered to be Anti-social behaviour? 🔵 Noise nuisance (e.g., loud music late at night) 🔵 Vandalism or graffiti 🔵 Aggressive or threatening behaviour 🔵 Drug-related activity 🔵 Street drinking or loitering in a way that intimidates others 🚔 I feel intimidated by the people involved, what can I do? 🔵 For police to take action they need to evidence that the person(s) responsible for the ASB is/are causing harassment, alarm and distress to members of the community. They can evidence this by taking statements from the individuals affected by the ASB. The statements can be made anonymously, your details will not be known to any person(s) involved in the ASB. 🚓 How do I report ASB? 🔵 ASB is dealt with as a multi-agency response.
