Yesterday your Safer Neighbourhood Team crewed up with other first responders and partners to showcase how we tackle knife crime as part of our week long campaign, Operation Sceptre.
Officers from our Taser Training units, First Aid Trainers as well as Derbyshire Blood Bikes, Public Protection Officers, St Peters Rangers and Supporting Communities all came together to educate and discuss how we all deal with the aftermath of knife crime but also what we do to keep weapons off the streets before they are used causing devastating effects to victims, families and first responders who attend.
Despite the weather, the turn out was outstanding! You all had some interesting questions for us and were keen to look at the equipment we use.
