Drink Driving

As Christmas approaches, lots of celebrations take place, and we want you to be able to enjoy these as best you can.

Sadly, we have recently seen RTC's in the area, around the weekends, which have been a result of those who enjoying the festive season, making the deadly decision to get behind the wheel under the influence.

It is known alcohol increases confidence, but it certainly does not increase ability, which is why minorities think they will be ‘good drivers’, until officers and partners are dealing with the aftermath of drink driving road traffic collisions. 

Please share the message, let's ensure when going out and enjoying the festivities when alcohol is involved, that public transport is used, or someone not under the influence, is the main transport to and from these celebrations - and as a result, prevent the risk of officers having to make that unwanted knock at someone's door this Christmas.
