Renishaw- Proactive patrols in action

Whilst on proactive patrols, PC Wheeleright and PCSO Rawson recovered a suspected stolen caravan.

A vigilant member of the public noticed something out of the ordinary in the Renishaw area and promptly contacted police. Your local officers were already out in the community and were able to attend the location in under 5 minutes.

This incident highlights the role of Safer Neighbourhood Policing in deterring, preventing and detecting crime, working in partnership with the local community.

Officers continue to patrol the area regularly both in marked and unmarked vehicles, to help keep our neighbourhoods safe.
