Man and woman arrested for drug offences following warrant in Chaddesden

A man and a woman have been arrested for drug offences after we executed a warrant at a property in Chaddesden. 

Chaddesden Safer Neighbourhood Team, with support from Allestree SNT, Derby City Centre SNT, plus the Dog Section and Drone Unit, targeted the address in Mayfield Road on Monday 15 December. 

A large quantity of what is suspected to be Class A and B drugs were found at the property and recovered. 

A 24-year-old-man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested for being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and possession with intent to supply. 

Both have been released under investigation pending further enquiries. 

Officers acted on intelligence from the community in order to execute the search warrant.
