Picture released of man as part of investigation into parcel theft in Mickleover

Officers have released a picture of a man we would like to speak with in relation to a parcel theft in Mickleover.

A resident in Buttercup Grove had a parcel delivered on Thursday 4 December between 9am and 6pm.

At some point between these hours a man turned up in a van with another parcel and rings the doorbell, but then leaves with the original parcel left at the door.

ollowing the incident, there has been two further reports of similar suspicious activity in the area.

A white Ford Transit van was seen in the area on Tuesday 9 December and on Thursday 11 December a man was reportedly seen going up and down driveways pretending to be a delivery man.

The man is described as being aged in his mid to late 30s, about 5ft 11ins tall and with a beard.

We have now released a picture of a man we would like to speak with in relation to the incidents.
