Theft of car left Idling

On during the early hours of 08/12/2025 a car was left running on a driveway on Preston Avenue, Alfreton, to allow it to defrost. 

The owner left the car for a short time during which the vehicle was stolen from the driveway.

This is a message for awareness of owners to be cautious when leaving their cars unattended as it can leave them open for opportunist thieves and result in theft of their car.
