ELECTRIC SCOOTERS

Hope everyone is keeping safe and warm.

Just another reminder regarding Electric Scooters as another one seized this afternoon on Dracan village at Drakelow.

NOT to ride Escooters on public land, including parks.

ALLOWED ONLY on PRIVATE LAND with consent from Landowner.

The relevant documents are needed ie a valid driving licence plus valid insurance.  But before you think of insurance- there is no companies that will insure these dangerous motor-propelled vehicles and that is why the Police and PCSOS have the power to seize.

The Road Traffic Act 1988- Section 165A and 165B states because failing to produce the relevant documents the vehicle is seized.
