Quarterly Neighbourhood Priorities- Rose Hill- January- March |
||
|
Hello, You may have recently received an email asking you to complete a survey so that we can gather data on what concerns local residents most, and how we can incorporate that into our quarterly priorities. The local policing team have discussed with the Area Inspector these results, as well as our own data, discussions with the community safety partnership and residents and have decide on 3 priorities for us to focus on over the next 3 months. Towards the end of March i will provide an update on the work we have completed, and ask once again if you would like to complete a survey to begin the cycle gain. Although there are 3 priorities, these will not be our sole focus, or the majority of our time; we still respond dynamically to incidents, tensions and concerns and will have other engagements, events and projects throughout that time; as well as daily business. The priorities for Abbey for the next 3 months are:
Priorities: 1: Supporting ‘Project Flex’ 2: Sex workers and the exploitation of vulnerable people. 3: Shaftesbury Industrial estate Anti-Social Vehicles
2: A problem management plan has been implemented to disrupt and deter those involved in public sex work. Assisting in helping those being exploited with intervention partners and agencies. Proactive, partnership work is regularly carried out using a variety of tactics. Exploring additional options to disrupt the additional anti social behaviour that comes with it; public order, littering, nuisance vehicles etc 3: Vehicles being driven and parked in an anti social manner around the industrial estate, reports of speeding and other driving offences. We will work with our partners in Derby City Council; Public Protection team and Traffic Enforcement to conduct regular patrols and take action accordingly. Engagement and education with businesses that may be contributing to issues in the area.
Many thanks, Sam | ||
