Remember to slow down  your speed especially during these very icy conditions.  The rural areas especially are lethal, and therefore many RTC incidents are being reported, for instance this morning on Caton Road from Rosliston to Walton-on-Trent an accident occurred.

No life-changing injuries but a damaged vehicle. 

I'm also alerting you to vehicle crime that's occurred recently, overnight Sunday 4th - Monday 5th and then in another village on Monday 5th - Tuesday 6th of January. 

Kuga stolen on Church Street, Coton-in-the-Elms without keys but found in the West Midlands, crime number 26000007340

Landrover Discovery interfered with on Galloway Road in Drakelow causing criminal damage, crime number 260000010946.

Therefore keep vigilant and report anything that looks or feels suspicious by ringing 101 or 999.
