🐟 A Fishy Find on Boyer Walk 🐟 |
||
|
Officers the local Safer Neighbourhood Team whilst out and about came across an unusual find this week after a large quantity of fish was found dumped along Boyer Walk. While it might seem like a harmless prank, improperly disposed fish waste can cause real problems for the environment. When fish waste is left out in the open or near waterways, it decomposes and can lower oxygen levels, leading to foul odours and attracting pests. In water systems, decomposing organic waste can also disrupt water quality, harm local wildlife, and contribute to pollution. Our team arranged for the waste to be safely removed and will continue patrols in the area. If you witnessed anything or saw who may have dumped the fish, please get in touch via 101 or through our online reporting channels. Thank you for helping us keep Stockbrook clean and safe.
