I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Parking issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. ๐ฅ A Day in the Life of Normanton SNT โ ACTION-PACKED FROM START TO FINISH! ๐ฅ
Ever wondered what it takes to keep Normanton safe? Today was a perfect example of teamwork, quick thinking, and community spirit in action! Hereโs what YOUR local officers have been up to:
โ
Patrolling ASB Hotspots Our PCSOs hit the streets at Southgate Retail Park, Normanton Road, Shaftesbury Industrial Estate, and Lower Dale Road, tackling reports of street drinking, begging, and illegal parking on double yellow lines. Visible policing = safer streets!
๐จ Emergency on the Roundabout! When a carโs clutch failed on one of Normantonโs busiest roundabouts, PC Steel, PCSO Alvey, and PCSO Humpston didnโt hesitate โ they jumped in to keep traffic flowing and prevent chaos. Thatโs fast thinking under pressure! ๐
๐ฅ Investing in Our Youth PCSO Morley and PCSO Fell-Meakin joined youth boxing sessions designed to give young people a positive focus and steer them away from crime. Building trust, shaping futures! ๐ฅ
๐ Protecting the Vulnerable PCSO Lawson attended an address for a vulnerable female, ensuring safeguarding measures were in place and making her feel safe and supported. This is what community policing is all about โ care and compassion.
๐ Operation Servator โ Eyes Everywhere Sgt Sharma and PC Wood were out as part of Operation Servator, cracking down on suspicious behaviour and keeping streets and town centres secure. Proactive policing at its best!
Every day, Normanton SNT is on the front line for YOU โ tackling crime, supporting the vulnerable, and building a stronger, safer community. ๐ช ๐ See something? Say something! Report via 101 or online at https://www.derbyshire.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/
